4k Video June 15, 2024 Burr Oak Bowl Blue Island, IL 2024 Illinois High School Grand Prix Invitational Miranda and I decided to try this tournament again this year. She finished 4th in 2023. This is a handicap tournament, so we knew we were rolling the dice taking the long drive up state to Chicagoland. Miranda warmed up with her Storm Absolute Power, but I wasn't happy with the pocket entry. Switched her to the Storm Summit Peak and we had a much better shape and drive. Games 1 & 2 were clean and she finished both games strong. Game 3 something was not right for the first 5 frames. She didn't look comfortable like she did in games 1 & 2. I switched her to the Hammer Envy Tour and she was right back where she was in games 1 & 2. Miranda finished 3rd best on our set for scratch series. Hoping for a top 5 finish to be in the money. The handicaps this go around were brutal. See what happens in a week or so when the final results are published.
