Bridgerton Season 3 Crack - Ode to Penelope & Colin - Parody

My daughter and I adored Season 3 of Bridgerton and Polin are our favorite couple. Yes, this season had its issues - too many side stories, weird editing, Luke Newton's wig 🙄 - but overall I was pretty satisfied with their story. I had intended to do a Polin only video documenting their relationship mainly because I was bored and pretty annoyed with the Fandom on Reddit, Twitter and IG. Then I realized that this story shouldn't have to be explained. If you need it explained to you then (1) you haven't been paying attention for the past 3 seasons which makes you either lazy, immature or both (sorry, not sorry), (2) the friends to lovers trope just isn't your cup of tea (bummer cuz it's really beautiful) or (3) you're so used to toxic men and/or relationships you just can't relate to something that feels natural and real. Ok. Whatever. That plan to do the video fizzled once my daughter suggested that we do a crack video after about our 3rd viewing of season 3. This season has spawned many a conversation with my young adult daughter - mostly about Polin's story being the most relatable to her and frankly, how much she appreciated Nicola Coughlin's willingness to put it all out there. We both felt seen and it really meant something. I understood for the first time what being seen means. I get it now. And as a Mom, I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed having those open conversations with her. Anyway, this video pokes a little fun. While we had some serious talks about what was going on in season 3 of Bridgerton, we also made lots of jokes. This is the culmination of our weird takes on some of what we saw this season.
