As Official Overlay Supporter to the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, GL events UK is delighted to be providing temporary infrastructure at Cannock Chase Forest, which will host mountain biking competition at Birmingham 2022. Background North of Birmingham, the forest is a popular destination for cyclists of all abilities. Recent additions are Perry’s Trail for intermediate riders and an innovative Pedal and Play area that helps younger cyclists develop their skills. The forest also boasts miles of walking trails, a Go Ape centre for thrill seekers, running routes, the Superworm activity trail and Gruffalo sculptures that transform woodland walks into an exciting prospect for children. There’s also Grounds Café for an all important re-fuel after all that fresh air.
