In this video I show you know to knit a scarf using all knit stitches, known as Garter Stitch. YOU WILL LEARN THE FOLLOWING: How to Cast on The Knitting Stitch (Garter Stitch) How to join a different colour yarn into your knitting How to cast off your knitting How to weave in the loose ends after knitting I've also written a FREE knitting pattern for this Scarf that you can download on my website or Ravelry page at the following: www.knittingagogo.com https://www.ravelry.com/people/Knitti... I used 2 x 100g balls of Rowan Pure Wool Superwash Worsted Wool in the following shades: 133 (GOLD) 102 (SOFT CREAM) I purchased my Rowan Yarn from the following website: https://www.woolwarehouse.co.uk/yarn/... You'll also need a pair of 4.5mm (U.S. #7) knitting needles, an embroidery needle and scissors for cutting the yarn. The finished scarf in this example measures 14.5cm (5.75in) in width (unstretched) and 178cm (70in) in length. This is a beginners guide to knitting series (Episode 1) and I will be providing further FREE video tutorials incorporating a fun knitting project as we progress through the different types of knit stitches and patterns.
