STRIDER (US Gold - Amstrad - 1989)

Strider is a platform game released by US Gold in 1989, for the Amstrad computer. Is also known as Strider Hiryu. Early in the 21st century, an unexplained series of disasters swept over the European continent. Sightings of creatures that appeared to be extra-terrestrial corresponded with new reports of devastation. Out in space, somewhere between the earth and it's lone moon, The Grand Master Meio have been carefully studying fife patterns of the earth's inhabitants from his home on a distant nebula. The creatures wreaking havoc were his creations. The Striders, the final bastion of good in a world turned upside down, moved into action.
