Dune is a masterclass in grand design, directing, scenery, world building and acting. The color palette used painted unknown alien worlds that were as real to us as looking at our own moon. Director Denis Villeneuve tempts yoir imagination to explore Dune as if you were right there in the world fighting amongst the warring feudal clans of the enlightened and beloved House Atreides and the calculating and sadistic House Harkonnen. This masterfully executed film seduces your senses and draws you in to believe in this space fantasy extravaganza. I enjoyed its slow burn pace leading to moments of volatile, action and explosive, subdued dialogue. There was a rhyme and reason in every scene. Sometimes, a long fuse can lead to an all out eruption of supersized visuals or a clash of swords.I highly recommend you see Dune.
