Part 3/3. A visit to the East Anglia Transport Museum at Carlton Colville for the '50's Seaside Celebration' event. This event took place over the weekend of the 11th and 12th May 2019 with the scenes in this video being filmed on the 11th May 2019. In the final part of this video; views of Hastings trolleybuses No's 3 and 34 operating as well as a ride onboard No. 3 and a ride back to Lowestoft Railway Station onboard Great Yarmouth Corporation motorbus No. 85. Hastings & District Guy BTX60 Dodson No. 3 (dubbed 'Happy Harold') was visiting courtesy of the Hastings Trolleybus Restoration Group. The trolleybus was built for the opening of the trolleybus system in Hastings in 1929. It was then stored in 1938 but reappeared in 1952 after being fully restored and operated every summer on the system until it closed in 1959. The electric motor was replaced by a Commer TS3 diesel in 1959/60 and the bus has been running on that ever since. Joining No. 3 was Hastings Tramways Company Sunbeam No. 34 which was running for the first time following restoration at the museum. This was also the first time that two Hastings trolleybuses had run together since the closure of the system back in 1959 - a real highlight of this event.
