Reaction proper starts: 13:41 The exact moment my heart breaks in half: 24:00 So...Volume 8 has come to a close. It's now been a week. I've had some time to breathe and recover... and that has happened to... varying degrees of success. This has been... a journey to say the least guys. RWBY always is but this was.... something else entirely. Never before has RWBY hit me quite this hard... Penny's story has been, one of my single favorite character stories I've ever experienced... and it's... finally over... All wrapped up in the greatest and... one of the most difficult arcs in the series to date. From Ironwoods collapse, to the fall of Atlas, the all out war with Salem, the message to the world, the silver eyed grimm, the collapse and return of the schnee family name, the loss of both the relic of knowledge and creation, Cinders redemption and resolution, the winter maidens three, Emeralds and Hazels turn, and the fall of... almost more characters in a single season than we've had in the entire rest of the show combined... It's been a hard one to get through, but an incredibly powerful and beautiful one. CRWBY absolutely fought through the past year and change to give us the best the show has to offer to date and I cannot express how thankful to them and proud I am of them. It's been a trip... and one I wouldn't trade for anything. Thank you so much to everyone who has joined me these months as we made our way through the fall of Atlas... it was a long painful road but being able to spend it with all of you has been an absolute delight and I can't express my appreciation enough. I've said it before and I'll say it again.. RWBY is my favorite show, and piece of fiction in general.. It resonates with me in a way nothing else does... getting to be able to talk about it, and spread the love for it with all of you makes me happy in a way you may never be able to understand. Thank you. Thank you to all the folks in the community who have been kind, supportive and welcoming to me, I may have been here since day one... but that doesn't always mean I've felt like I deserved to be here... And it means the world that that is changing for me. Thank you. Thank you all. CRWBY, the FNDM, my own little gaggle of weirdos on the internet... all of you. You're the best. This may be where we say goodbye for a time... but I promise it won't be for very long. I'll see you in the fairytales. I'll see you in the Soundtrack.
