This video wasn't supposed to be a video but a project that I could enjoy without filming it. When I saw how beautiful it turned out I decided you should be able to take part in the process. :) I also tested the LowRider's limits again. They are definitely reached with 3000mm/min and 6mm DOC in hardwood... 00:12 - The four different woods: Purple Heart - Pear - Satinwood - Red Heart. 00:16 - Planing the inlays down and finding the LowRider's limits (3000mm/min). 01:45 - Sanding. 01:54 - Cutting the holes. 03:54 - Cutting out the board. 05:31 - Manually zeroing using the mouse wheel (new Estlcam feature, I love it!). 05:42 - Cutting out the lid (featuring the woodworkers glitter). 07:26 - Magnets. I like magnets. 08:08 - More sanding. 08:21 - Oiling. 09:00 - Engraving the lid - Zeroing with a touchplate. 10:34 - The figures. 11:34 - Finished game. This is the first project where I extensively used Estlcam's new feature to remember the last starting position. After homing the CNC, it sets the relative 0/0/0 to the one that was used in the last project. This is brilliant if you don't have too much time and have to split your work in several small steps over several days.
