“Sliplock Gulch” is a 6 rated difficulty trail at Sand Hollow, UT. The trail is known for steep climbs, many of which favor a longer wheelbase. The trail starts along a canyon and then drops down into a wash for the remainder of the trail. A popular route is to go from Sliplock over to “John’s Trail” (rated 7), since Sliplock is a shorter trail. “Horseshoe Falls” is the main challenging obstacle on the trail. Multiple slick ledges on a steep grade make for a difficult climb! Low tire pressure (less than 10 lbs) will help a lot. Skid plate recommended.
