We started our journey by heading to the old Chat Wala near Takka Bench, a place I used to visit after school in my younger days. We couldn't resist indulging in Gol Gappa, and to our delight, they tasted just as delicious as I remembered! After that, another childhood memory beckoned me – the craving for the sweet and tangy churan sold by the vendor under the oak tree on The Ridge. I was thrilled to find him still there, and the taste brought back floods of old memories. Of course, no trip down memory lane would be complete without a visit to my favorite softy ice cream stall. Just like in the good old days, I treated myself to a delightful cone, savoring every bite. Saru and I then took a romantic stroll down Mall Road, hand in hand, soaking in the joy and laughter around us. It was a day of revisiting cherished moments and creating new ones.
