NEW GENERATION 2024-2025 TOYOTA RAV4 (Bestseller SUV)

OTOMACHI As a benchmark of the compact crossover segment, the RAV4 continues to be one of the most popular offerings. Model-year 2024 will likely be a carryover year considering Toyota gave the SUV a significant update for 2023. The 2024 Toyota RAV4 will compete with the Honda CR-V, Subaru Forester, and Mazda CX-50. This is the best generation of RAV4 that Toyota has developed so far. Although the RAV4 does little to move our hearts as enthusiasts, there's a reason the Toyota SUV is a bestseller. It offers a pleasant blend of practicality and technology, with a focus on user friendliness and daily drivability. We appreciate its strong fuel economy, plentiful driver assistance features, and recently updated infotainment suite. For all of its merits, the RAV4's on-road dynamics don't stand out within the segment. The engine in the gasoline-only models can be thrashy. Although the RAV4 handles with confidence, it isn't sporty and its ride quality errs on the bouncy side. Fortunately, we've found the RAV4 Hybrid and RAV4 Prime boast significantly improved refinement and performance. The RAV4 Hybrid beat the competent Honda CR-V Hybrid in a comparison test, where we called it "the best product Toyota makes. " The RAV4 may not be our favorite compact crossover, but it's a good option if fuel economy and safety features are top of mind. And it doesn't hurt that Toyota offers free routine maintenance for two years or 25,000 miles, whichever comes first.
