Manhart has released their first set of upgrades for the BMW M2, featuring a menacing appearance with carbon elements and 21-inch wheels. This is just the beginning of the modifications by the tuner based in Wuppertal, as they have hinted at even more extreme enhancements in the future. The modifications to the M2 include a carbon fiber bodykit, larger wheels, new coilovers, and an impressive power increase. The twin-turbo 3.0-liter inline-six engine has been boosted by 99 hp and 100 Nm of torque using Manhart's MHtronic control unit. As a result, the modified M2 now produces 552 hp and 650 Nm of torque, surpassing the performance of any factory-spec M3 or M4. However, this is still not as powerful as the previous-generation MH2, leaving room for further upgrades. The exhaust system has been upgraded to improve the sound experience, with sport or race downpipes available. Chassis upgrades include V4 coilovers by KW Suspension, with the option for simpler coil-over springs for those who prefer a less extreme setup. Visually, the MH2 560 features carbon fiber accents on the front grille, bumper intakes, splitter, and vented hood. The wide fenders from the factory remain, while a new set of 20 or 21-inch alloy wheels adds to the car's appeal. At the rear, the fixed rear wing has been replaced with a prominent carbon spoiler lip and diffuser, housing four matte black tailpipes. The example pictured also includes matte grey and blue decals on its black bodywork, creating a sinister look in combination with the diamond-polished wheels. Manhart has listed the prices for each component on their online shop. The visual upgrades range from €1,050 to €1,860, while the alloy wheels cost between €2,440 and €3,070. The power upgrade module is priced at €2,195. Additional costs for decals and foiling can range from €1,099 to €7,325. Overall, the modifications can easily exceed €20k before considering any chassis or interior upgrades.
