Ashtabula, Ohio - a Two-Sided City - lots of abandonment

This video is my representation of my impression of Ashtabula. Watch til the end because there is something different that really sums this place up. I had stopped a couple times in the past but never actually took a day to have a closer look until now. I was shocked at how bad the downtown was. Almost completely abandoned and neglected. The only place downtown with people in it was the library, replete with emergency naloxone. There were several rude people shouting at us and trying to start shit downtown and at the mall-except in the nice parts of town, all was fine there. The difference in the neighborhoods is stark, and there is a big drug problem. I feel sad for the city because it has so much potential being right on Lake Erie. All cities in the USA are going this way, though. So enjoy my artistic interpretation of Ashtabula, OH.
