MOUNT RWENZORI HIKE APRIL 2022

A one day hike to mount Rwenzori national park, with Makerere University Business school, Bachelors of Travel and tourism Management student during their Western Uganda tour to the different National parks. The hike started at 10AM at nyakalingijo mihunga main gate of mount Rwenzori national park, and reached the first camp at 2 :30PM which is called NYabitaba camp which is at 2651 Meters above sea level. most students didn't make it to Nyabitaba because of the climatic conditions at the different areas on the trails as well as the trail being hard to walk on since most of then didn't have hiking gears like the shoes. Hiking down was very easy asit took us about 2 hours to reach the main gate wherethe hike started.
