Have you ever wanted to go to a Hindu monastery and temple? I hadn't, and to be frank, it wasn't at the top of my to do list for Hawaii. But now and then things come together. I recalled two years ago, Nicole Shaw telling me of a special place on Kauai of a temple and monastery situated on beautiful grounds, and that you could just sit, meditate and absorb it all. I had no idea that this place would be only a mile and a half from our Airbnb when I made our reservations for this trip, so when our host also spoke of all the things Nicole told me, I knew we had to visit and our new friend, Marina, the Italian chef, also experienced it with us too!
