Solo Motorcycle Camping at a Noisy Hot Spring | Husqvarna 701 | ASMR Silent Vlog

I was looking for a quiet place to camp on my 2020 Husqvarna 701 LR motorcycle and I almost found it. Haeckel Road is one of my favorites because it is rough, remote and leads to the Hotwell Dunes Recreation Area. Over 2,000 acres of sand dunes cover the surface of this OHV off-highway vehicle area in Southern Arizona. The sand dunes were a beach surrounded by a lake over two million years ago. Today it is a place for recreation and camping, often crowded with UTVs and side-by-sides on the weekend. I rode into the information kiosk about a half-mile from the pavement and and paid the $3.00 fee to enter. I noticed a few vehicles with trailers and a couple of RVs parked in the camping spots and parking lot near the hot springs. I shed my riding gear and put on a pair of swimming trunks and relaxed in one of the pools for about a half-hour. I was the only one there. The hot springs are fed by solar power pumps that fill two tubs with hot artesian water during the day and release the water durning the night. For this reason, you won’t find anyone sitting in the hot springs during the night. Looking to get as far as possible from the other campers I rode into the sand dunes on my motorcycle. Sand riding can be a challenge, but I played around until I found a nice spot next to one of the few trees in the sand dunes. I unloaded my bike, pitched my tent and built a fire. A small string of LED lights provided a bit more ambiance. I used a simple solid-fuel stove to cook some noodles, peppers and chicken - and relaxed with a cold beverage from my insulated bottle. It was a calm night with a half-moon hanging over the branches of the nearby vegetation. The only thing I could hear was the crackling of the fire, the other campers yelling and the sounds of their engines.
