Sea fishing Selsey, Bream bonanza with a bass or two

Beach fishing Selsey in West Sussex by the Selsey Lifeboat station, arrived at 6.00am to fish tide in. Gentle breeze, high humidity, calm sea and torrential rain. Bait was frozen squid and frozen lugworm. Target species were bream and it was one of those brilliant days rarely had where the fish just wanted to feed and did so all the way up to the top of the tide then stopped biting as the tide was running. Caught bass and the odd crab, but a rare day when the fish were biting freely on every cast.
