I needed to dig a drainage ditch in my swampy woods. I was afraid I would get stuck in the nasty wet swamp yet it needed to be done. Not fun to clean afterwards! I also needed to change out the bucket to a larger one. I show in this video how to change the bucket without a quick disconnect. I bought this micro track hoe or micro trackhoe as they are called. It’s a Kymron sold out of Oklahoma and is made in china. It has a 14 horsepower Briggs and Stratton engine which gives it possibly more power than a 2200lb mini excavator needs. I use it for all kinds of projects, from digging, trenching, picking up logs, moving rocks, etc etc. I have a 8” bucket, a 16” bucket, a 30” grading bucket and a rake or grapple. It comes with a 36” hydraulic dozer blade and a hydraulic thumb.
