Testing out 4 different fluxes to determine the best recovery of gold and silver, the results may surprise you! In this video we tested: Borax, Chapmans flux, Chapmans flux and roasting, and the soda iron method. We used a sample of sulfide concentrates off one of our MBMM shaker tables to simulate the "worst case" for sulfur and gold/sliver recovery. Our goal is to find the easiest, fastest, and most effective smelting technique so our customers and viewers can get the most gold in the easiest way possible.
