C# Coding DevLog 007: C# Properties are a barrel of laughs

In this week's #learnprogramming #csharp video log, I talk a bit about my difficulties understanding and utilizing properties when #programming. I'm trying to be really transparent about what it takes to be a #selftaught programmer, with a focus on building useful applications for my colleagues. TLDR, it took me about 3 days to really begin to gel with properties. This isn't the first topic I've struggled with in C#, but it is the most recent. The moral of the story is, persistence, patience, and attention can get you over walls that might otherwise seem impassable. I also talk a bit about learning #html and #frontenddevelopment #webdesign as a self-taught programmer, which is generally good news and a lot of fun! As a teacher I'm about to run short on time, so my progress is almost guaranteed to slow way down, but I'm determined to make as much progress as I can before the summer evaporates out from under me! #learntocode2024 #coding #computerprogramming #adulteducation
