This video is about making Chilli Chicken in Kerala Style. I haven't tried this recipe with boneless chicken. INGREDIENTS: Chicken: 1 ½ Kilo Cut and Cleaned. To Marinate: Corn Flour -- 3 TBS Eggs -2 Soy Sauce -- 2 TBS Cracked Pepper -- 1 TBS Salt to taste. Red colour -- a pinch (Optional) I haven't used in this video. You may add 1 tbs green chilli sauce while you marinate to get a "kick"! its optional. I would have if I had it. Veggies: Onions -- 3 Cut in cubes. Capsicum -- 1 cut in cubes Ginger -- 1 inch piece Garlic -- 6 pods chopped/crushed Green Chilles -8-10. ½ cup hot and sweet tomato sauce 1 tbs chilli powder Oil -- to fry chicken and veggies. To Garnish (Optional) Spring onions -2 Chopped Celery Stick -- 1 Chopped METHOD: Make batter with the ingredients listed under "to marinate". Whisk well avoiding clumps. Add chicken to this, mix well and marinate atleast for an hour. Fry marinated chicken, each side until golden brown. This takes about 5 minutes (Each side, total 10 min). Wrap fried chicken in tissue paper to remove excess oil. Fry the veggies 3-4 min in 2 tbs oil used to fry the chicken. Add 1 tbs Soy sauce. Reduce Flame!! Add ½ cup hot and sweet tomato sauce mixed with 1 tbs chilli powder to the fried veggies and continue to fry for 2 min. Add fried chicken to the veggie mixture, mix well and cook covered for 5 minutes in medium flame. Serve hot!
