Basically, if the little chomp has a x64 multiplier, it has a less than 1% chance of winning. Depending on the multiplier of the little chomp, both chomps will have a different chance of taking a bite during an interval. In the x64 variant, the little chomp only has a 10% chance of taking a bite, while the big chomp has a 90% chance. During that same interval, if the chomp took a bite, then it has a 40% chance of taking a second bit. Since it takes six bites for each chomp to finish their cake, the little chomp has to get the successful 10% bite chance plus the 40% second bite three times without letting the big chomp get 6 90% chance bites.
