We also chat with some locals displaying my very poor Indonesian language skills before we look inside an Ubud family compound revealing a family storage unit of baskets, trays, flowers, fruit, and everything else needed to provide for their commitment to regular festivals and ceremonies. Upstairs from the Balinese family living below I give you a quick tour of my little studio/room I rent by the month for $USD200. Accompanying the tour of my village area of Ubud are snippets of daily life in Ubud where I live on $500 a month.
