I love to say that since I was in the primary grades, gardening is one thing that I love to do. I love touching the soil with my young hands and plant vegetables and other crops. The first plants I planted as I remember are sweet potato, cassava, taro, string beans ang bitter gourd. I remember being mad of ny mother when she harvests my plants without my permission. Nonetheless, I'm so happy when she makes delicious dish with those and serves it to the table for us to eat. Last year, I planted eggplants and pechay in my garden and waited for months before it was ready to harvest and I'm so happy with the result. I harvested my pechay and eggplant and made breakfast and dinner for my big family.
