My girlfriend and I went on a half day Meteora starting at . 8:30 AM and ends at . 13:30 hike. Our guide , Vaggelis , was very friendly, smiling and engaged. We learned about how the monasteries were built where the food was brought to the monastery , how to reach to the top and possible climbing routes . He talked about the beautiful birds and suddenly there..... We got a half-day hike in Meteora with Vaggellis . We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel before and after the trip which was very convenient . Vaggellis was very friendly and knowledgeable guide . He told us about how the Meteora ( the rocks ) were formed , the history of monasteries and biodiversity in the forest.
