This mod is the best "convenience" mod that anyone can do to a vehicle that has Sync 2. It allows you to utilize Fords upgraded software for entertainment and use Sync 3 which is used in 2017 - 2022+ vehicles. This install was in a 2016 F250 Lariat, and was very simple. Took about an hour and a half with recording and explaining everything. Anyone with simple tools can do this upgrade in their driveway. I have been using the Sync 3 now for a couple of months with no problems, and I can say that when driving in larger cities and using Apple or Google maps it helps a lot.
