The first day we check it out, its raining so I film a little bit on my phone. The first permission doesn't have many rabbits on but the rabbits are coming of a moor and using the fields during the night. The second permission does look promising so we plan a days ferreting with Richard. I'm hoping for a big score so I go over kill on nets, even setting the long net around small warrens which we purse net. All this for not many rabbits from the open warrens. We drop onto a wood afterwards but it gets too busy to film. We use 5 ferrets and a lot of purse nets. We do really well out of this wood catching about 25 rabbits within a couple hours. We caught a total of 38 rabbits including a black one that Lass managed to catch before we even started ferreting.
