The course starts by the children's play area, which you get too by walking down the hill from Lodge Café. The course is run in a clockwise direction and starts by going up the hill. As you reach the top of the steep section, the course flattens before another short, but no so steep uphill section to the top of the park. From here it is a long downhill winding path before turning right and heading back past the start. You have to run up the hill three times. But the third lap is only half a lap. On the downhill section, you take a right turn and head to the finish which is on the path leading to Lodge Café. The course had lots of marshals and was well signposted. The Café had indoor and outdoor seating. The average number of parkrunners is 68, although there were only 28 when I was there. It maybe have a hill, but I'm surprised this parkrun isn't more popular.
