We show some of the sights that we got to see, from our Amtrak viewliner deluxe room, the food car and just how we bond. Come along with us enjoy the choo choo, the food, the company and the sights This is the primary sleeping car for overnight trains in the Eastern United States, the Viewliner offers various rooms to travel across the Midwest, Northeast, and Southeast. We give you a tour of a Viewliner sleeping car, the largest, most family friendly sleeping compartment on these cars. We took the Silver Star from Atlanta, GA to Washington, DC. the Amtrak Silver Star however, goes from Miami, Fl to New York City, NY and allows passengers off and on along the way. Coming from Miami, the last stop that allows passengers to get off the train for the ride is Washington DC's Union Station.
