RPGs have been around for a long time, but how were they created? What is their origin? This series is going to look at how the Role Playing Game genre was formed. We're going to look at the people and games that influenced the genre, starting in the 1970s up until today. Dragon Quest from Enix, Final Fantasy from Squaresoft, Ys, Hydlide, Dragon and Princess, Seduction of the Condominium Wives, Dungeon from Koei, Black Onyx, Heart of Fantasy, Dragon Slayer and Dragon Slayer II Xanadu from Nihon Falcom, Zelda, Digital Devil Story Megami Tensei and Phantasy star (Sega Master System). Most of these titles were on the PC-8801 (PC 88), Famicom (Nintendo Entertainment System).
