To install a radio in your transit, click here:    • 2020 - 2024+ Ford Transit Radio Install   Watch a tutorial as we explain how to remove the factory radio in a 2021 Ford Transit. This process may be necessary if you are planning on replacing the factory radio with a double din modular or single din chassis (with a floating screen) radio. This video applies to Ford Transit and Transit Connect models for years 2020, 2021, and 2022. NOTE for NON-SYNC models: For Non-Sync models when retaining the backup camera, you may or may not have to modify the backup camera depending if the ground for the camera RCA cable in the Axxess harness is pinned in the correct location. If your image doesn't come through clear, move the camera ground wire in the Axxess harness (black) and connect it to the center channel blue wire location (Pin 24 on radio harness). Also, the Transit usually puts out about .5 or .6 volts for the video signal, and some headunits (like pioneer), require at least 1 volt of signal to recognize a video signal. If you are using a pioneer, you may need an RCA video voltage booster. NOTE for SYNC models: The factory USB ports are on a HUB system, which prevents you to integrate those USB ports to the new aftermarket radio. If you leave those USB port cable connected to the SYNC module, it they still will remain as a full time charge only.
