Aditya Prateek Singh Sisodia aka Badshah recently revealed in an interview with 'The Lallantop' ‪@TheLallantop‬ that he owns a pair of Nike Air Yeezy 2 'Red Octobers' that's currently reselling for roughly 22 Lac INR. This pair was released by Kanye West in association with Nike on 9th Feb in 2014 for a retail price of 250 dollars that's roughly 21k indian rupees and even today after 10 years of its release, this pair is reselling for this amount - that's around 22 lac indian rupees. Kanye West was the first ever non athlete artist to collab with Nike in 2007 and he first created and released air yeezy 1 in 2009. As Kanye created these phenomenal sneakers with Nike, It not only drove sales but also impacted the overall culture forever. This was a highly controversial collaboration between Nike and Kanye west because Nike denied paying any royalties to Kanye west stating that he wasn't an athlete and they pay royalties to only athlete collabs. And that's why after the release of Air Yeezy 2 Red Octobers, Kanye West left Nike forever and joined Adidas and the rest is history.
