Bhagat Puran Singh Ji Pingalwara Natural Agriculture Farm (Dheerekot near Jandiala Guru)

Pingalwara, founded by Bhagat Puran Singh Ji, has set up its own Natural Farm at Dheerekot near Jandiala Guru, Amirtsar. Pingalwara says that excessive use of chemical fertilizers and pesticide has manifested itself in Cancer, female fetal loss, adverse effects on reproductive health. Therefore Pingalwara has set up this demonstration farm where cultivation is done without use of any pesticide. Results of such cultivation can be seen in these farms. A team of Agriculture and Environment Center visited this farm on June 7, 2021 during Jal Chetna Yatra. S. Rajbir Singh, who manages and takes care of this farm guided the tour of farm and explained various processes and techniques invented and adopted by Pingalwara in this farm.
