🌍 Last Day in Georgia: Exploring Mtskheta, Jvari, Gori, Uplistsikhe and airport Lounge! 🇬🇪

This is the final day of my Georgia trip, and what a journey it’s been! I joined a fantastic day tour to visit some incredible historical sites. 🚐 Our tour was organized by Grand Tours , led by the super friendly Mandeep from India. The tour was shared, and at just 50 Lari per person (food and entrance tickets not included), it’s a great deal! ✨ Tour Highlights 1. 🏛️ Jvari Monastery - A stunning 6th-century Georgian Orthodox monastery that remains almost unchanged since its early medieval origins! It's a masterpiece of Georgian architecture. 2. 🏙️ Gori City - Famous as the birthplace of Soviet leader Joseph Stalin. 3. 🖼️ Joseph Stalin Museum - Entry is 15 GEL. I didn’t go inside as filming wasn’t allowed. 4. 🏞️ Uplistsikhe Cave Town - One of Georgia’s oldest urban settlements, full of history and intrigue. 5. 🍽️ Lunch @ Chateau Uplistsikhe - A perfect spot to relax and enjoy the local flavors. 6. ⛪ Svetitskhoveli Cathedral in Mtskheta - A UNESCO World Heritage site and the second-largest church in Georgia! After the tour, I returned to the city and enjoyed a delightful dinner at Nikolozi—my last meal in Georgia! To top it off, I indulged in a delicious Chimney Cake Ice Cream 🍦 at Lumier’s. 🚌 Then, I hopped on public bus number 337 to Tbilisi Airport. After browsing the Duty-Free shops, I boarded my Indigo flight ✈️ back home to India 🇮🇳.
