A detailed demonstration of threading the Husqvarna HuskyLock 435 serger / overlocker. With the help of the threading diagram, I demonstrate threading the top looper first, the lower looper second and then lastly, the needle. Chaining off is the initial test to make sure everything is in order, then sewing a seam on fabric for the final test. Tension and blade adjustment will be shown in future videos. Troubleshooting: Make sure to have a good needle installed. If you're unsure, replace it with a brand new one. Check the blades are cutting well. Use several strands of thread and put them under the top blade and turn the hand wheel until the blade comes down and the threads should be cut cleanly. If not, the blades will need sharpening.
