Laptop Battery 'Plugged In, Not Charging' in Windows 7 - Easy Fix To fix this problem, please follow these simple 11 steps: 1. Shutdown your windows and Plug off your charger from the laptop 2. Remove the battery from the laptop 3. Turn on your laptop again only with the AC Adapter plugged in 4. After turning on Windows, go to Control panel and then open Device Manager 5. Find the related battery driver listed and find ”Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery”. Right click that driver and uninstall all the driver named 6. Now, right click on ‘Microsoft AC Adaptor’ and uninstall it. 7. Shutdown your computer 8. Unplug the charger again 9. Now attach the battery to laptop again 10.
