Intel Core i5-1135G7 \ NVIDIA GeForce MX450 2GB GDDR6 VRAM \ 22 GAMES TESTED in 10/2020

I have to add that I ran into some really high temps esp. on the GPU (90°C) when using this system for demanding games. So I started to use an aluminum cool pad to get this device some centimeters away from my wooden table. (https://i-tec.cz/de/produkt/coolpad-3/) And this really helped a lot. GPU temps are at around 75°C now. That's ok plus it's not starting to throttle (GPU wise) at all. So I can recommend you guys to also use a cool pad when you're gaming on a compact laptop like this one. This also helped a lot with heating issues on my own private ASUS TUF gaming laptop that is using an RTX2060 but is also a pretty compact device. This ruined the FPS Avg recording but when playing the game you get nearly constant 60FPS. 32:34 - Rocket League @1080p high quality avg 110FPS Conclusion: The overall gaming performance of this system is really fine especially in games that are a bit older like Rocket League or WoW. However, the 2GB VRAM is holding this GPU back a lot in modern VRAM demanding titles like Warzone or Apex Legends. If there would've been an MX450 with 4GB of VRAM the performance would be way better. And also for upcoming titles, more VRAM might be necessary. So I'd say the MX450 is a good product and a good successor of the MX350 but only for today and for playing casual not that demanding titles. If you'd ask me what's a good or even better alternative for the MX450? I'd have to say take the GTX1050. Devices with the GTX1050 are way cheaper now and also available in used but good condition. What amazed me really more than the MX450 is the Intel Core i5-1135G7. It's really a huge boost to the previous 8 thread Intel mobile chips. In fact, the CPU had absolutely no problem running every single title in this benchmark at more than 60FPS.
