Join me as I generate and play through what I consider to be somewhat difficult maps using the in-game Dial-Up Map Device or DMD for short. Most of the maps that I will be generating will feature all of the different enemy types in the game, and will also place some restrictions of the players of the map. General stats for each map: Up to the following enemies: 25 Emitters: 90-180 power at between 0.3-0.7 or higher interval. 25 Spore Towers: between 3-14 spores that launch ~every 3-4 minutes, take about the first 6-12 minutes of the mission to be built, and contain a payload for each spore of between 90-180 or so. Usually, this means that if one of the spores slips through your defenses, a good amount of your infrastructure will be damaged. 25 Air Exclusion Zones with field range of anywhere between 15-50 or so. Runner Nests: Some maps might feature some of these Nests, but because of the fact that I don't have as much experience as I would like, the number and stats would vary too wildly for me to specify. Digitalis is featured in some maps. Resources: Up to: 10-25 Totems 10-25 Ore Mines The following packs may not appear on every map, but if they do, they will be in this range: 5-20 Energy Packs, 100-1000 Energy per pack 5-20 Ore Packs, 100-500 Ore per pack 3-20 Aether Packs, 100-1500 Aether per pack Unit Restrictions: Thor, Shield, Bomber, and Guppy are almost always not going to be available in these maps. Strafers, Sprayers, Terps and some other buildings/units may not be available or may only be available in specific quantities on certain maps. There will always be 1 Forge, and between 1-4 Berthas available. Terrain will usually feature lots of void chasms in between islands that are formed by these chasms. There will always be mid-high ground that you might be able to take, usually with at least one Ore Mine and one Totem, but not always guaranteed. Island hopping is almost always the strategy, especially between the islands that do not have emitters on them. Map sizes will vary greatly, but will always be above 100x100 in size. NOTE 1: Given that a good amount of the time spent on this map is with the map paused, and that there is no commentary for this video due to the amount of concentration required, this video is not for everyone due to it's slow nature.
