We started our journey from Karimabad Hunza to China border also known as Khunjerab Pass. Khunjerab pass is the highest paved international border in the world with altitude of 4693m (15397ft) from the sea level. Khunjerab Pass has historic value for Pakistan China friendship and is the trade gateway between the two countries. Road from karaimbad to China Border Khunjerab Pass is state of the art KaraKaram highway. At the start of journey you will pass through the three tunnels of the Attabad Lake. After Attabad Lake you will see Passu Cones on the left side of the road. Passu Cones are pointed shapped hills that are very famous for its looks. On the left side there is a village called Hussaini village where you can hike for 20 minutes to reach Hussaini Suspension Bridge also known has Hussaini Bridge. After crossing Passu cones you will pass through Sost. Sost is the last town of Pakistan and there is no population from Sost to Khunjerab Pass. Khunjerab pass has the highest operational ATM in the world as well.
