As a Bridlingtonian ( not really ) originally from The Bolivian Andes, I am very proud to present to you this film I made a while ago because I believe our young generation needs to know more about their heritage. I hope you like it ! Juan Carlos Lino The Three Brothers The Coble Three Brothers was built in 1912 by Baker Siddall and his son Percy in Bow Street, Bridlington. They took six months to build the vessel. There were no plans to work to, except for a few measurements on the back of a cigarette packet. The Coble was built for robert Crawford who named her " The Three Brothers " after his sons William, George and Abraham. The Three Brothers has been restored by Bridlington Harbour Commisioners to her original design and The Bridlington Sailing Coble Preservation Society was formed with the aim of preserving this unique remaining exaple of the art of coble building.
