Trains at: Cambridge - WAML/FL - 14/12/19

Welcome to this first video of season 6 of 'Trains at' and the first of a few videos from my day on the West Anglia Mainline. With GreaterAnglia's cascading of their older stock almost complete, I realised I had never filmed at Cambridge, which is only an hour from my home, so I quickly made a plan to visit Cambridge along with Whittlesford Parkway, Audley End and Stansted Airport on the WAML. My time filming at Cambridge was rather interesting; firstly I was happy to see two GA Class 156's instead of the new Stadler units (that where due to completely replace the older stock within a week of filming), there was a really nice Thameslink driver who gave me some great tones and finally, towards the end of my filming session, there was the news that there was a fatality near Stevenage so all King's Cross traffic was halted. Another bonus was that at the time, the RHTT season had just finished so the Broxbourne-based tanks were being returned to Whitemoor Yard along with their Class 66's.
