Along with my friend Stelios, we’re going on a 3-day spearfishing journey, exploring three different fishing spots. 🌊 On day one, we visit a stunning location where natural sulfur springs create a breathtaking underwater scene. We take turns setting up ambushes, searching for good cover. With minimal fish activity, we end up fishing in the shallows, chasing grey mullets and other coastal fish. We had some fun trying simultaneous ambushes, and against all odds, Stelios managed to shoot a passing grey mullet. 🐟 Day two takes us to a nearby spot where I usually encounter predators around this time of year. We start off in the shallows, where I miss a shot on a grey mullet but get to admire a beautiful Triton’s trumpet seashell. As we move deeper, I catch a parrotfish while ambushing near the small fish. Then, Mediterranean barracudas show up, and we’re able to catch two, making day two a great success! 🔱 On the third and final day of our trip, we head to Stelios' favorite spot. He's optimistic about the day, diving with his big 125cm speargun. I manage to secure a couple of large parrotfish in the shallows when suddenly, Stelios calls me — he’s just shot an amberjack, and the school is still swimming below. I quickly reload and take what feels like a solid shot, but somehow, the fish slips away. We continue ambushing around the deep spot, encountering dentexes and barracudas. At one point, Stelios' shaft gets stuck in a longline after a shot, so I dive in to help and secure the fish. We finish off with a few dynamic ambushes, exploring the deeper spots of the area. 🌅 As the sun sets, it marks the end of our 3-day spearfishing adventure, full of excitement, amazing encounters, and great catches. ✅ If you enjoyed the video, be sure to give it a thumbs up and subscribe to the channel for more thrilling underwater adventures.
