This is a candid review of the Jenn-Air 48" Rise Gas Range. It's long, there are no edits and you'll see some continued focus issues. Sorry about that... I'm only posting this because when I was researching this range, all I could find were short promotional videos that showed off key features. On paper, this range has a lot going for it. In reality, there are tradeoffs I wish we knew about in advance. Ultimately, this range presented us with too many challenges and we ended up switching to a Wolf that has been an absolute workhorse. In this video, I talk about some of the features compared to similarly priced/featured Wolf, Bertazzoni and Thermador ranges. This should also be helpful for anyone considering the Noir version of this range, which is structurally the same but with more modern styling. [I actually shot this during Covid, hence some of the supply issues I reference. Just getting around to uploading now, but the Rise is still Jenn-Air's current model.]
