This is a short video specifically to review these headsets and see how well they work compared to the promotional claims... Do they live up to the hype and marketing claims? See for yourself! This review is done as we are sailing a Leopard 50 Catamaran on the 8000 mile journey from Cape Town to Annapolis, USA and test it out in different situations - a mechanical breakdown in the steering (not what you want when doing an ocean crossing!), up the mast and when hoisting the Oxley Levante - a wing spinnaker. There are many other situations to use them too - anchoring, mainsail hoists and reefing, testing the integrity of new yacht windows for leaks with one person outside spraying the water and the other inside looking for leaks. Even our veteran skipper, Paul Badenhorst that has done 51 Atlantic crossings and 285,000 sea miles was really impressed with the product and the other person on crew that also owns a Leopard 50, ordered themselves a pair after the first use of them!
