#yellowstone #geyser #eruption #yellowstonevolcano On the 23rd of July, 2024, the Yellowstone Geyser system experienced a major hydrothermal eruption at the Biscuit Basin thermal area. In this video we take a look at what occurred, and explain a hydrothermal eruption versus a magmatic one. Thankfully no one was injured in this recent event, although a boardwalk was damaged. This hydrothermal eruption does not signal that the Yellowstone supervolcano is about to erupt, and it differs from an actual volcanic eruption. Thank you so much for watching!
