My video tutorial today has five of my favourite ways to use background dies in your painting, mixed media, art journaling and card making. I've got plenty of ideas for how you can get the most use out of your large background dies so get your dies out and let's get cutting! In my video I'm covering how to use your background dies to only cut the surface of layered materials like corrugated cardboard to expose that wonderful corrugated texture in the pattern of your die. You will also find in this video tips and tricks for using the dies to make stamps and texture for your brayers and rollers, just perfect for a whole range of paint projects. Also I am sharing how to use your dies to make your own stencils and how to get great patterns with them using partial die-cutting.
