Demon Slayer Kyojuro Rengoku enjoys his food, often blurting out "Umai!" as he eats, but his most memorable meal is on the Mugen Train when he works his way through a stack of beef bento boxes he bought from a vendor and her granddaughter. With thinly sliced beef and onions cooked in a savory-sweet sauce, Gyunabe bento (牛鍋弁当) is the predecessor to the more common Gyudon bento(牛丼弁当) we have today. The bento box shown on Kimetsu no Yaiba also included tofu, Japanese scallions, a soft boiled egg, and red pickled ginger.
