Andaman Cuckoo Doves, the call is a repeated cooing "koo..koo" sound. Andaman Green Pigeon is a dull-green pigeon with a thick pale bill and a grey forehead. Andaman Wood Pigeon, is the state bird of Andaman & Nicobar Islands. Ashy-Wood Pigeon, have shiny buff and black neck collar, wider at back and at the front and narrowing at sides. Asian Emerald Dove is also known as a green dove. Barred Cuckoo Dove, appear to have longer-tail than Spotted and Turtle Doves. Eurasian Collared-Dove, have short red legs and black bills. Green Imperial Pigeon, build stick nests in a tree and lays a single white egg. Grey-Fronted Green Pigeon, the male has a deep velvet-red back and grey-blue crown. Female has an olive-green back and a more restricted crown patch. Hill Pigeon, are more pale-headed than Rock Pigeon but has a broad white stripe across its dark tail. Laughing Dove is also known as a turtle dove. Mountain Imperial Pigeon is also known as the maroon-backed imperial pigeon. Nicobar Imperial Pigeon is a large pigeon with greenish-brown upperparts, grey head, and grey underparts. Nicobar Pigeon is a very colourful pigeon, they have a small blackish knob on their bill and a short whitetail. Nilgiri Wood Pigeon call is a loud low-frequency hooting "who" followed by a series of deep "who-who-who" notes. Orange Breasted Green Pigeon, Male has a pinkish band on the upper breast with a broader orange. Pale Capped Pigeon, is also known as the purple wood pigeon. Pied Imperial Pigeon, are mainly found on small islands and in coastal regions. Pin-Tailed Green Pigeon, have a neon-blue bill, bright red feet and a very long, sharp-tipped tail. Red Collared Dove, also known as the red turtle dove. Rock Pigeon, is also known as rock dove, or common pigeons. Snow Pigeon, have a blackish head contrasting with a white neck collar and white under-parts. Speckled Wood Pigeon call is a deep, booming ‘Woo-hoo! Hooo…hooo'. Spotted Dove, is also called by different names such as mountain dove, pearl-necked dove, lace-necked dove, and spotted turtle-dove. Spotted Green Pigeon is most likely considered to be extinct. Thick-Billed Green Pigeon, have a thick pale greenish bill with a red base, and broad bluish-green eye-ring. Wedge-Tailed Green Pigeon is greenish-yellow with a wedge-shaped tail. White-bellied Green Pigeon is known for its unusual habit of drinking saltwater.
