@WilfridBabilas • 2Seemy-D3200 https://www.facebook.com/groups/Studi... Hey Everyone! How many are still using this powerful DAW in 2023? Granted it is a dinosaur by today's standards, but it still works very well! Wilfrid Babilas is the original creator of the 2seemy VGA adapter. It was created out of necessity as the D3200 did not come with this feature from Korg along with other models. As the market changed and standalone DAWs became obsolete in favor of computer based DAW software and interfaces. The 2seemy no longer made sense to produce and the site was shut down for sales. Fast forward to today, Sébastien, who was part of the original 2seemy team took over the business from Wilfrid and his daughter to once again serve the home recording community. Many people love and still need these units despite the models being long since obsolete. His goal is to keep the 2seemy project alive as long as necessary to give people who missed out years ago a chance to purchase. At the time of recording this video it is unknown how much longer these units will be available. Many of these Korg units survive today on Reverb and eBay. They still carry value that is only increased with the VGA adapter installed. For those wanting to get started with home recording or for those that want an all in one machine to capture a live band mix, then import to a computer DAW later they are a great option. I was one of the early beta testers of the original units that had the PS/2 ports for a planned external mouse. Unfortunately this function never came to pass due to the difficulty in implementation.
